PHILADELPHIA – December 13, 2005 – ACE USA, the U.S.-based retail operating division of the ACE Group of Companies, today announced the appointment of Michael Robinson as Vice President and Zone Manager for ACE USA Professional Risk, Southeast Region. Working closely with brokers and clients in the Southeast region, Mr. Robinson will have responsibility for distribution, sales and marketing of management and professional liability products, including Directors & Officers, Errors & Omissions, and Financial Institutions.
ACE USA Professional Risk is the operating unit within ACE USA that distributes management liability, professional liability and surety products through retail brokers throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Mr. Robinson joins ACE USA from St. Paul Travelers Insurance Company, where he held numerous senior leadership roles in underwriting and regional operations in commercial, specialty and personal product lines, most recently served as Regional Executive of the Southern Region. Earlier in his career he held senior roles at Alexander & Alexander, Johnson & Higgins and Chubb Group of Insurance Companies. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from State University of New York at Brockport.
